Introduction to Computers and their Applications

This course introduces the student to the uses of computers in business. A minimum of one contact hour per week contains curriculum designed to improve basic skills deficiencies in mathematics by reinforcing arithmetic and algebraic concepts. Students learn the vocabulary of the computer field and the ways computers work. In the computer lab, students will learn how to use several popular application software programs, as well as to navigate the internet.
