Description
This course develops students' existing knowledge of traditional and digital fabrication methods used in consumer products. New sustainable materials and digital fabrication methods including advanced 3D printing, biodegradable materials, mold making, design for the environment and recycling techniques are developed. Emphasis is placed on developing fabrication and production skills necessary to produce consumer products with focus on product, social and environmental improvements.
