Description
This course will survey the more commonly known speech, language, and hearing disorders that affect children and adults. It will introduce prospective Speech-Language Pathology students to the field. The course will also help classroom teachers recognize speech, language, and hearing disorders among children in their classrooms, make appropriate referrals for intervention, and promote the ability of those with communication disorders to achieve their maximum communicative potential.
