Description
This course explores a variety of alternative photographic processes and manipulated imagery techniques such as hand-coloring and gum bichromate printing. The course may cover processes such as collage, printing, drawing and photographic darkroom techniques, solarization, negative sandwiching and rayographing. Students will utilize these techniques in a series of assignments. The course typically includes a gallery/museum trip and presentations by professional photographers.
