Description
This course covers major writers, genres and themes in British literature from 1660 to the present. This includes Restoration, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Victorianism, Modernism, and Postmodernism. Attention will be given to social, intellectual, cultural, and political contexts in order to help the students understand the works.
