This course provides students majoring in Psychology with the knowledge of statistical methods utilized in the behavioral sciences. Topics covered will include probability theory, descriptive statistics, correlation/regression, t-test, ANOVA, and chi-square. The emphasis will be on the description and analysis of data from the area of psychology. Students will learn how to analyze data using statistical software and how to report their results in written accounts in the APA style.
