Foundations of Special Education

Catalog Description

This course prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to provide instruction that promotes the participation and progress of students with disabilities in the general education curriculum. Students are exposed to research-based practices for the creation of effective instructional environments for all students, especially those classified for special education services and supports with a range of disabilities. This course requires 20 fieldwork hours.
