History and Principles of Public Health
Catalog Description
This course is designed to introduce students to the history and enterprise of public health and strategies used in public health promotion and disease prevention initiatives. The course will provide students with an opportunity to learn about past, present and future key public health topics of importance, and to apply public health strategies to prevent or minimize these problems among culturally diverse populations across the lifespan.
