Leadership and Delegation

This capstone course assists the new graduate transition to the role of professional nurse. The focus is on the necessary knowledge and skills needed by the graduate to be an integral member of the interprofessional healthcare team and manager of patient care. Issues related to setting priorities, delegation, quality improvement, legal parameters of nursing practice and ethical issues will be discussed.
