Course Title

Foundations of American Education: Grades 7-12

Catalog Description

This writing intensive course provides a comprehensive overview of contemporary and historical issues in American education relevant to secondary education. Topics include philosophical, sociological, political, legal and cultural themes in education. Students will develop a teaching ePortfolio and must complete 25 hours of classroom observation in a NYC public school.
