Introduction to Veterinary Technology

This course offers an introduction to the field of Veterinary Technology. Subjects covered include an overview of the veterinary profession, veterinary medical ethics, career options in Veterinary Technology and a summary of the regulatory agencies governing veterinary medicine. Veterinary medical terminology, medical dosing, breed identification, nutrition, animal husbandry, genetics and behavior of common domestic species will also be introduced.
