Therapeutic Procedures II

This course focuses on the principles and uses of biophysical agents utilizing thermal, mechanical, electrical, and electromagnetic energy as they relate to physical therapy. A review of tissue response to injury and repair, and wound management will be explored. Course activities include the proper preparation and administration of treatment with modality equipment, orthotic appliances, and wound care materials commonly used in physical therapy settings.
