This course introduces the topics of ethics and legal issues as applied to the profession of physical therapy. Students will examine aspects of social determinants of health with opportunities to apply legal and ethical theories and concepts to analyze issues faced by healthcare practitioners. Students will become familiarized with aspects of administrative, financial, quality improvement, and clinical management related to health care practice in the USA.
