OTA Level I Fieldwork A

This course incorporates weekly professional development seminars and 40 hours of Level I Fieldwork through direct observation and practice in select areas of the OT process. A blended clinical experience is delivered using case simulations (virtual and in person), faculty-led site visits, and/or supervision by a fieldworkeducator in practice environment. Topics include therapeutic use of self, addressing behavioral health, and how psychosocial factors influence engagement in occupations.
