Calculus II

Catalog Description

This is the second course in the calculus sequence designed to provide students with an appreciation of the usefulness and power of calculus. Emphasis will be placed on the applications of integration to various disciplines. Topics include integration techniques (e.g. by parts, partial fractions), areas between curves, volumes of revolution, applications to physics, sequences and series, Taylor series representation of analytic functions, parametric calculus, and polar coordinates.
