Description
This course is the first of a three-course sequence designed to provide students with an appreciation of the usefulness and power of calculus. It covers fundamentals of differential calculus of elementary functions and an introduction to integral calculus. Topics include: limits, continuity, derivatives, applications of derivatives to graphing and optimization, the Mean Value Theorem, the Area Problem, Riemann sums, indefinite/definite integrals and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
