Global Tourism Destinations

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the countries of the world and the most visited global tourism destinations. This course will also discuss the development of themed tourism programs appealing to those with special interests, including small-ship cruise travel, adventure, space, culinary, sport, and volunteer tourism. Environmental sustainability and ethical tourism development will constitute an underlying theme throughout the course.
