Course Title

Foundations of American Education: Grades 1-6

Catalog Description

This writing intensive course provides a comprehensive overview of contemporary and historical issues in American education relevant to elementary education. Topics include philosophical, sociological, political, legal and cultural themes in education. Students will develop a teaching ePortfolio and must complete 15 hours of classroom observation in a NYC public school.
