This course builds on students' ASL competencies and their use of ASL in a variety of discourse and narrative settings. Skills to be developed are:spatial organization, semantic awareness, complex use of ASL grammar and syntax, the use of classifiers, cultural perspectives of content and Deaf people's views of both Deaf and hearing worlds.
